Ezekiel foresaw that the Bible (the stick of Judah) and the Book of Mormon (the stick of Joseph) would “become one in thine hand” (Ezekiel 37:17). Prophets in the Book of Mormon reaffirmed this prophecy (see 1 Nephi 13:40–41; 2 Nephi 29:14; Mormon 7:8). The Book of Mormon and the Bible not only have overlapping timelines but also testify of the coming of Jesus Christ, His ministry, and His atoning sacrifice for all of us.
