President Nelson Ministers

Using devotional broadcasts and social media posts, President Russell M. Nelson continues to invite all people to come unto Christ and learn from Him.

During a devotional broadcast, President Nelson encouraged Church members in Oklahoma and Kansas, USA, to focus on “one of the greatest gifts our Heavenly Father has given us to center our lives on Him and His Beloved Son,” he said. “I am referring to the Book of Mormon. It is a gift to us from God. It is the keystone of our religion because it contains the very heart, the center of His doctrine.”

Speaking to members in California, USA, during another broadcast, President Nelson extended three invitations: (1) seek truth through prayer, searching the scriptures, and studying the words of prophets, seers, and revelators; (2) increase spiritual power and discernment by making covenants with God and keeping them; and (3) take an active part in helping to gather Israel.

And in a broadcast to 48 countries, President Nelson reminded European Saints: “Many of your friends are seeking to understand why they are here on earth. They want to know if life has any meaning and purpose. They want to make a difference in the world. They wonder whom they can trust. Do you realize that you have the answers that those friends are seeking?”

On social media, President Nelson invited us to not only feel gratitude but also show it. He invited us to make room in our hearts for those “who may be struggling to see the light of the Savior and to feel His love.” He encouraged us to “labor together to lead out in abandoning attitudes and actions of prejudice.” And he testified that “there is one source to whom we can all turn to either enhance the love we feel for others or to mend our hearts when they feel broken—the Savior Jesus Christ.”
