What Is the United States and Canada Section?

The Liahona is part of a rich legacy of international publishing. Not only is it available in 48 languages, but the Liahona publishes about 65 regional inserts with content specific to a geographic location.

Subscribers to the Liahona who have lived outside of the United States and Canada are likely familiar with this “local pages” section inserted in the middle of the magazine. In some areas of the world, this section has been around for more than 25 years.

For the first time, subscribers in the United States and Canada now have a section of the magazine that will feature content specific to their interests.

While the regular pages of the magazine will continue to teach broadly applicable gospel principles, local pages sections allow Church leaders to address topics of regional interest and show how the gospel applies to members in a specific location or culture.
