On the cover: When the resurrected Savior visited the Nephite people, “he took their little children, one by one, and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them” (3 Ne. 17:21). Concern for today’s children was expressed by the Brethren in a special Church-wide satellite broadcast in January 1994. See “Behold Your Little Ones,” page 35. (Photograph by Richard M. Romney. Back cover: Photograph by Russell D. Holt.)

Inside back cover: Esther Denouncing Haman, by Ernest Normand. Based on personal hatred, Haman, chief aide of Persian King Ahasuerus, deceitfully obtained a royal decree that all Jews be put to death. Unknown to the king, his queen, Esther, was a Jew. To save her people, Esther risked her life by revealing her nationality to the king and denouncing Haman’s plot (see Esth. 7).
