Singapore: Major Events

1968Missionaries arrived in Singapore; the first local converts were baptized.

1971Following the government’s expulsion of many foreign missionaries, local Singaporean members shouldered the responsibility of sharing the gospel.

1995The Singapore Stake was organized.

2007The Singapore Stake Centre was constructed and dedicated.

2019Singapore Saints celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Church there.
