Edson Fuller

(1809–79)

Edson Fuller was born in Cazenovia, New York. Sometime between 1827 and 1830, he moved to Chardon, Ohio, where he married Celira Canfield in February 1830. Sometime before the spring of 1831, Fuller was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The following June, he was ordained an elder and called to serve a mission to Missouri (Doctrine and Covenants 52:28), but he apparently never went. In September 1831 he was “silenced from holding the office of Elder.” By 1838 Fuller had left the Church.
