God’s Perspective
I had drifted far from God, but at FSY I started to see things differently and overcome my disobedience and doubts.
Around my second year of middle school, there were times when I didn’t want to go to church. I played table tennis, and competitions were often on Sundays. Sometimes, I even lied to avoid going to church. That was probably the time I was furthest from God.
I overcame it when I went to FSY. At FSY, I interacted with people my age, spent time closer to God, received many blessings, and felt the Spirit strongly. The doubts I had about God gradually disappeared, and I felt that I truly had faith again for the first time in a while.
I’ve been to FSY three times. Listening to everyone else’s testimony at FSY helped me see that everyone had faith in God. Their testimonies stayed in my heart, and I was able to develop my own testimony. I feel that I was able to have experiences that brought me closer to God. I’m personally very grateful for that.
Before FSY, I sometimes broke commandments or delayed obeying the word of God. Going to FSY helped me follow those teachings again. I also started thinking about God’s teachings in my daily life by viewing things from God’s perspective. By keeping God’s perspective in mind, I naturally stopped doing bad things. There were times when I treated friends harshly, but I stopped doing that. My relationship with my family improved, and I started reading God’s teachings and scriptures more seriously. My daily life became richer.
In life, there are many obstacles, but we can overcome them with God’s help and guidance.
