I used to be afraid to talk about the Church. I was worried that people would react strangely.
Then one time, two of my friends who aren’t members of the Church were over at my house. When it came time for a meal, I automatically thought about praying before eating. At first, I hesitated to speak up because I was afraid my friends would think it was strange. But I decided to mention that my family always says a prayer before eating at my house.
To my surprise, one of my friends said she didn’t know I had that habit and that she thought it was really nice. She even wanted to do the same with her family.
That moment strengthened my confidence in sharing my faith in God and reminded me that people’s reactions are often more positive than we expect. I realized that even something simple can inspire others.
