The Way Home

My four-year-old granddaughter often sees the temple and joyfully exclaims, “That’s my way home!” She’s right—through the covenants and ordinances in the house of the Lord, one day we can return to live with Heavenly Father. (See page 2.)

One of the greatest ways we show our love for God is by using our agency to make and keep covenants with Him. Covenants are also how God shows His love for us—through them, we can have greater access to His power and can feel His presence every day. (See page 18.)

Our covenant relationship with God blesses us with power to invite His children on both sides of the veil to come unto Him. We are also blessed with more charity and virtue, which President Russell M. Nelson taught can give us the confidence to approach God right now. (See pages 8, 22, 24.)

What greater blessing could there be?

My prayer is that we will rejoice in knowing our way home and joyfully help others find their way home too.
