For Older Kids
Words from You
I feel peace when I read the Book of Mormon.
Packer T., age 9, Utah, USA
When I share about the Church, I feel like I’m doing missionary work for Heavenly Father. I feel He is very happy with me. I know all of us can be good missionaries.
Lily C., age 12, Taoyuan, Taiwan
Church Matching Maze
Help Nita move through the building to find her friend! She can only move to a room that is touching the room she’s in, and the two rooms must have a matching item. For example, she can move from room 1 to room 5 because they are touching and they both have a blue and gray book. Nita will visit each room once. Her friend is in the last room she enters.
Write the order of the rooms she visits.
Sad and Happy Game
Take turns playing this acting game with a friend. Choose one person to be Sad and one person to be Happy. Sad starts the game by saying something sad. Then Happy says “BUT!” and adds something happy about the thing Sad said. Switch roles and play again. Use this script to get started:
Sad: I feel sick today.
Happy: BUT! My friend brought me something good to eat.
Sad: My chores are so boring.
Happy: BUT! If I finish fast, I can play with my friends.
Mini Puzzle
Fill in the empty squares so that the numbers 1–4 are in each row (across), each column (up and down), and each outlined box. Can you think of four nice things to do today?
