Ordinance

An ordinance is a sacred, or holy, act done with priesthood authority in the name of Jesus Christ. Some examples are the sacrament, baptism, and confirmation.

Remission of Sins

When we repent and receive a remission of sins, we are forgiven for the wrong choices we’ve made. This is possible because of Jesus Christ.

Meek

To be meek is to be humble, mild, willing, and obedient. Jesus Christ set an example of this when He was on the earth.

Saints

In the New Testament, the saints were all those who chose to be baptized and join Jesus Christ’s Church (see Acts 9:13). We use the same word for those who choose to be baptized into His Church today. A saint is someone who follows Jesus Christ.
