Jacob was Nephi’s younger brother. He was born after their family left Jerusalem. Jacob came to the promised land as a child.

Jacob and Nephi both saw Jesus Christ. They shared their testimonies with their families to help them learn about Jesus.

They shared the words of the prophet Isaiah too. Isaiah had also seen Jesus and wrote about Him in the scriptures. Jacob and Nephi used Isaiah’s words from the scriptures to teach their families about Jesus.

They taught that Jesus would come to earth. He would die and live again. They shared their testimony of Jesus Christ so their families would look forward to His coming.
