Come, Follow Me Activities for Little Ones

For Luke 12–17; John 11

Play this gratitude guessing game with your little ones! Choose something you’re grateful for, but don’t say what it is yet. List reasons why you are grateful for that person or thing until your child guesses correctly. Then it’s their turn!

For Matthew 19–20; Mark 10; Luke 18

Show your little ones a picture of the temple. Explain that Heavenly Father wants us to be sealed in temples so our families can be together forever. Sing “Families Can Be Together Forever” (Children’s Songbook, 188).

For Matthew 21–23; Mark 11; Luke 19–20; John 12

Visit the nearest temple with your little ones or show them pictures online. Share a simple testimony of how you feel about the temple. If you’re able to walk around the grounds, help children to recognize the lovely, peaceful feeling there.

For Joseph Smith—Matthew 1; Matthew 24–25; Mark 12–13; Luke 21

Help your little ones say, “Jesus wants me to serve others.” Together, think of someone you can help. After you’ve helped that person, ask how helping made them feel.
