All about Porter
Age: 10
From: USA and is living in Poland
Languages: English and is learning French
Family: Dad, Mom, brothers Ethan, Mason, and Connor, and a dog named Ginger
Goals and dreams: Become a vet and take care of animals.
Porter’s Helping Hands
Porter always looks for little things he can do to help others. At home, he helps his parents make meals for the family. At school, he makes sure everyone is included in games, especially kids who often get left out. He helps take care of recess equipment, even if he didn’t play with it. He also does things to help animals. He is part of a club at school that makes toys for dogs at animal shelters.
Porter also helped out by participating in the BillionGraves project. He and his family went to a cemetery to take photos of headstones. His brother Connor helped take the photos. Then they uploaded the photos onto the project’s website. These photos will help people around the world who are searching for information on their Polish ancestors.
