Mother’s Day Card

Make this fun card for your mother or another important person for Mother’s Day. Be sure to get an adult’s help.

You will need:

2 pieces of thick colored paper

a pencil

scissors

glue

crayons or markers

  1. Trace both of your hands on a piece of colored paper and cut them out.

  2. Cut a 1-inch (2.5-cm) strip from the long side of a piece of paper and fold the strip accordion style.

  3. Line up the paper hands and glue each end of the folded strip to the palm of each hand.

  4. Write I love you … on the outside of one hand and this much! on the folded strip between the hands.

  5. Write a nice note on the back of the other hand and give it to someone you love!
