Scripture Fathers

Don’t get “tied” up figuring out these scripture fathers! Read the clue, then write the name on the tie. (You can look up the scripture if you get stuck or to check your answer.)

  1. He was the first father on the earth (see 1 Ne. 5:11).

  2. This father was a priest of wicked King Noah, but believed Abinadi’s words and went on to join the Church and become a missionary (see Mosiah 17:2).

  3. This visionary father prayed for his people when the prophets foretold that Jerusalem would be destroyed if the city did not repent (see 1 Ne. 1:5).

  4. Jesus’ father here on earth (see Matt. 1:16).

  5. After many years of waiting, this man became a father in his old age and named his son John (see Luke 1:13).

  6. He feeds the fowl of the air and is the father of our spirits (see Matt. 6:26).
