“One Little Coin,” Friend, Sept. 2002, 31
One little coin doesn’t seem like much
when lying all alone.
But add another and another and another,
and someday when you’re grown,
You’ll find that you have saved enough
to serve a mission for the Lord.
And you’ll be glad that you made sure
it was a goal you could afford.
When you’re young, a mission
seems very far away;
But if you save with that goal in mind,
One day you can say,
“I’m glad that I decided
to work and save and learn
so I could serve and be ready
when it was my turn.”
