Spring and Fall

While autumn leaves are falling in northern countries, such as England and the United States, springtime leaves are budding in southern countries, such as Australia and New Zealand. To honor both seasons, photocopy or trace this leaf twice onto white paper. Color one leaf green for spring and the other red or gold for autumn. Then cut out the leaves and glue them back to back. When the glue is dry, hold the leaf high over your head and let it twirl to the floor. Each time it lands spring-side-up, name a blessing that comes with spring or summer. Each time it lands autumn-side-up, name a blessing that comes with autumn or winter. If you wish, you may also name a place where it is spring or fall.
