Pretzel Sparklers

Note: Ask an older person to melt the white chocolate chips for you.

1 cup white chocolate chips

15–20 (8″/20 cm) pretzel rods

red or blue colored sugar

  1. Cover your work area with newspaper. Then cover a cookie sheet with waxed paper.

  2. Have an older person heat the white chocolate chips in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted. Remove the pan from the heat.

  3. Frost the top half of a pretzel rod with the chocolate, remove, sprinkle with colored sugar, and place on the waxed paper to dry. Repeat this process with each pretzel.
