I Can Be a Missionary Now!

Directions

To learn some of the things you can do to be a missionary now, or to prepare for a mission later on, play this game.

  1. Mount these pages on lightweight cardboard, then cut out the picture cards at right. Place them facedown next to the game board.

  2. Each player puts a different-color button or other small, unique object on START. The first player rolls a die, then moves his/her playing piece that many spaces, following the hand directions.

  3. If a player lands on a missionary space, he/she takes a picture card, puts it on that space, tells how that activity can help him/her be a missionary, then takes another turn. If all the picture cards have been used, upon landing on a missionary space, before taking the bonus turn, the player must think of and tell about another activity that will help her/him prepare for a mission.

  4. Remember, on a mission you should never go anywhere without your companion, so whoever finishes the game first keeps taking his/her turns and helps another player reach FINISH. The game continues until all players have finished.
