Hanging Spider

To make a spider, you will need: white paper, a pencil, scissors, black construction paper, glue, and a string.

1. Trace the spider body on this page onto white paper and cut it out.

2. Use this pattern to trace the body onto the black paper, then cut it out.

3. Cut eyes and nose from white paper, and glue them in place.

4. Cut narrow strips of black paper for legs, crease them in several places, and glue them in place.

5. Poke the string through the body, tie a knot in the end under the spider’s body to secure it, and hang up your spider.
