Road to a Testimony

Materials Needed: scissors, lightweight cardboard (a manila file folder works well—the game board can be mounted on one side, and the rules and envelope for the game cards on the other), glue, a small envelope, heavy paper, different-color buttons, and a die.

Instructions: Carefully remove pages 24, 25, and 45. Cut out the calendar and use it separately; and mount the game board, rules, envelope, and game cards on the cardboard. (If using a file folder, mount the game cards on a separate folder or piece of cardboard.) Cut out the game cards. Store them, the buttons, and the die in the envelope.

Rules: Each player chooses a button for a marker and places it on Start. Players then take turns rolling the die and moving their markers the corresponding number of spaces. When a player lands on a Stop sign, he draws a card, reads it aloud, and moves either ahead or back one space as indicated. The object of the game is to travel the road as quickly as possible. The exact number must be rolled to get into the Testimony space.
