My Thanks Today

Dear Lord, I thank Thee for this day of blessings rich and rare.

I thank Thee for the joy of earth about me ev’rywhere.

I thank Thee for the birds that sing, for butterflies and bees,

for flowers nodding in the sun, for wavring grass and trees.

I’m glad to be alive and share the things I hear and see.

So please accept my little prayer of praise and thanks to Thee.
