The House That Brigham Young Built

The Beehive House

Completed in 1854, the Beehive House was designed by famous architect Truman O. Angell. It was the official residence of Church president Brigham Young, who was also the first governor of the territory of Utah. President Lorenzo Snow and President Joseph F. Smith were the only other Church presidents to live in the Beehive House.
