I Resolve

I will not hurt a living thing;

On cloudy mornings I will sing.

I’ll share my playthings with a friend,

And try my best not to offend.

I will not speak a word untrue,

And grumbling I will never do.

I’ll always help each one I know.

These are my resolutions—so

I’ll neatly sign my name right here

And try to keep my word all year!
