Succeed in School is an after-school program approved by the Church Board of Education that helps youth progress academically, prepare for higher education, and become self-reliant disciples of Jesus Christ.
Students gather weekly in Church buildings, where volunteer teachers teach lessons such as reading, writing, English, mathematics, exam preparation, and study and life skills. Succeed in School operates through Seminaries & Institutes and prepares students for BYU-Pathway Worldwide.

The Succeed in School program served nearly 30,000 students in 2024 and is approved to operate in nearly 30 countries. New areas are requested by area presidencies and approved by the Church Board of Education. The following locations have been approved to operate Succeed in School:
Succeed in School classes are offered under the direction of stake presidencies. These local leaders select academic resources that meet the needs of their youth. These include reading, speaking, English as a second language, and mathematics skills. Students also gain study and life skills and learn how to prepare for important exams.
Classes are designed to be places where students can ask questions, actively learn, and rely on their teacher and classmates to strengthen confidence and skills. They are also places where youth can build their faith in Jesus Christ and feel the Holy Ghost. Students receive the benefits of belonging to a group of active learners.
The Succeed in School classes are a supplement to, but not a replacement for, school. The skills students develop will help them with the subjects they learn in their local schools. Classes are usually taught after school in local meetinghouses by called (volunteer) teachers. Teachers do not need to be professional educators, but many have an educational background. They are provided with lessons and other helpful materials to effectively teach the Succeed in School classes.
Classes are held under the direction of local Church leaders and are supported by Seminaries and Institutes employees.
Succeed in School resources are lessons and activities for youth based on global curriculum standards of education. Understanding the local education needs of the youth can help leaders decide which resources may work best in their area.
