Invite a Friend to Come and Help

“… if we multiply our efforts … to share God’s love for His children through Christian service, there will be a compounding effect of good that will bring the Light of Christ to this ever-darkening world.”President Ballard
Share the Light of Christ by inviting your friends to serve with you. People naturally want to help others; often, they just need an invitation! Every community is in need of volunteers, and every act of service—both big and small—can bless the lives of those around you.
People want to help; often all they need is an invitation. This video depicts the ease of inviting people to lend a helping hand in church-related service opportunities for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Inviting Others to "Come and Help"
Consider inviting your friends to participate with you in service activities like the following:
  • Family, ward, or stake service projects
  • Neighborhood projects
  • Donating to a blood, clothes, or food drive
  • Serving at a homeless shelter or food bank
  • Volunteering at a local school, senior living center, orphanage, animal shelter, or hospital
Get involved with your friends by talking to local contacts and family, visiting your city’s community center or website, and finding current service opportunities.
