Service Opportunities

Volunteers can be asked to serve in a variety of ways depending on the time of year. Harvesting and picking the fruit takes place in the late summer months, from August to October. Other service opportunities offered throughout the rest of the year may include planting, pruning, and thinning trees.

Most individuals come to serve early Saturday mornings at sunrise to avoid the heat of the day. They are encouraged to wear long sleeve shirts and long pants and bring sun protection (hats, sunscreen, etc.) and water.
