Seeking Members to Who Love the Temple and Perform Service for Photoshoot

Project: Temple Preparation Photoshoot and Service Project Exhibits
We are seeking individuals and families for two new exhibits at Temple Square in Salt Lake City.
The first exhibit will feature photos depicting people of all ages as they attend or prepare to attend the temple, and how the promises and blessings of temple covenants influence their daily lives. While primarily a visual exhibit, it may also include some text briefly quoting people’s thoughts about temple preparation, attendance, and covenants.
The second will feature photos and videos of people performing service in their communities.
Temple Attendance Photoshoot
The Phnom Penh Cambodia Temple is the first House of God to be built in Cambodia. What were your feelings when its construction was announced? What are you doing to prepare to attend the temple? How will making covenants and having a temple nearby impact your life?
We seek youth and adults (individuals, couples, or families) in the Phnom Penh area who will tell us why the temple is significant to them. You may have attended a temple in another country, or you may be preparing to go for the first time! We want to capture your story.
Service Project Photos
While every service effort is valuable, this project will work best with stories that can be shown in existing photos or videos of the act of service, the people being served, and the final result of the service. Please only share stories for which you have accompanying photos or video.
Service efforts best suited for this project:
· Feel inspiring or heart-warming
· Can be captured in a series of photographs
· Help people in your own community
· Could involve people you do or do not know
· Might incorporate specific talents from you or your group
· Are not related to government
· Are not part of a Church or missionary assignment (meaning that the ward budget, or a church affiliate covers the cost of the supplies or materials involved, or is part of a humanitarian or full-time missionary effort (senior, service, or young missionaries)
Selected candidates will be part of a photo shoot and their stories shared in a special exhibit at the new Salt Lake Temple Visitors’ Center.
This is a volunteer opportunity.

Step 1: Current Photos
Current digital snapshots are preferred. Photos must be well lit, without obstructing accessories like masks, sunglasses, or hats.
- Headshot: from the chest upward. Looking at camera.
- Couples and Families: A photo that includes everyone who will participate in the photoshoot, if selected.
- Project Specific Photos
- For Temple Attendance Photo Shoot: Share photos of your home that have visible representations of your love of the temple. This could include (but not limited to) photos, paintings or models of the temple, family photos, photos of ancestors.
- For Service Project Photos: Share photos of the service project. If you have a video of your service project, please upload it to a file sharing site (such as YouTube or Vimeo or Google Drive) and share the link to the video with us.
Step 2: Share Why You Love the Temple or Details About the Service Project
Temple Preparation Photoshoot: In 2-5 sentences, you’ll write why you love the temple. You can share a specific experience or what the temple has meant to you over a lifetime. You can also use this field to explain any of the photos of your home you have included.

You could answer these questions: How do you prepare? What’s your reason for going? How do the temple and your covenants impact your life?
Service Project: Prepare answers to the following questions-
1. Briefly tell us about your act of service and who it helped.
2. Tell us where and when it happened.
3. Who else participated in this act of service (if anyone)?
4. Tell us why you think this act of service might inspire other people!
