Reflecting on a travel assignment that included stops in England, Belgium, Cyprus, and Greece, Elder D. Todd Christofferson said that members faced real challenges in joining and being active in the Church in that area.

“I’m so proud of our missionaries and our members who’ve persevered nonetheless.”

“That’s the tradition of Paul,” he added, who was “impressively bold” in bearing witness of the Savior. Elder Christofferson said it was moving to stand where Paul stood on Mars Hill in Greece and share his testimony of the reality of the resurrected Christ. “That truth means everything,” he said.

Speaking of the growth of the Church in Europe, Elder Christofferson said, “We see a growing strength in that this will not dissipate, it won’t weaken, it won’t dissolve. It’s going to continue. I think Paul would be proud.”
