In this video, Elder Dallin H. Oaks and Elder M. Russell Ballard talk about the significance of organizing two new stakes in Europe—where the growth of the Church is not rapid, but steady.

“The Church needs to grow in Europe,” Elder Ballard says. “We must find and teach and baptize and activate and strengthen the wards and branches.”

Members of the new Rome Italy Stake and the Paris South Stake in France also eagerly anticipate the completion of the nearby temples currently under construction.

“The work of the Lord is a choice opportunity,” says Elder Oaks.
