“How can you receive the greatest happiness and blessings from this earth experience?” In asking and answering this question during an October 1996 general conference address, Elder Richard G. Scott summarized what most, if not all, of us desire to learn and to share with others.
What some may not remember is that in the year before this conference address, Elder Scott’s wife, Jeanene, had passed away. With great tenderness, he concluded his conference address with these words:
“I want the happiness we have found together to be yours. The more closely you personally adhere to [the Lord’s] plan for you on earth, the greater will be your happiness, fulfillment, and progress.”
