Focus on Education (6:10)
The Church teaches that the glory of God is intelligence and encourages education at all levels. The Church’s seminary program for youth ages 14-18 has an annual enrollment of 375,000 youth in 143 countries, with 38,000 volunteer and full-time teachers. In addition to the 50,000 students studying at Brigham Young University campuses in Utah, Idaho and Hawaii, the Church sponsors religious instruction at the university level in cities across the globe, with annual enrollment around 350,000. Established in 2001, the Perpetual Education Fund has helped over 53,000 students access greater educational and employment opportunities in 57 countries.
