Many times something very small can
make a very big difference.
We're going to look at some big things
that rely on some little things.
This is a car. Can you find the little
thing this car needs to make it start?
Is it a shoe? Is it a pelican?
Is it a cup? Is it keys?
Is it a piece of candy? Which
one is it? That's right. This big car needs little keys to get
it started. Ready for another one?
Here is a big flashlight. It needs
something to make it work.
Can you find the right thing?
That's right. This flashlight needs
batteries to make it shine.
Here is a boat. This boat needs
something small to help it steer.
Which is it?
That's right. It's the helm.
It looks like a steering wheel.
It's connected to the rudder.
They're both small parts that can
move a big ship. Okay. Last one.
These beautiful irises grow from
something small. Can you guess what?
That's right. The iris grows
from these tiny seeds.
As you can see, small things
can make a big difference.
In Alma 37, in
the Book of Mormon, we learn that by small
and simple things, great things are brought to pass.
There are small things I can do
every day to help others.
Small things like a sincere smile,
helping at home and church,
being a friend at school, or
giving a kind compliment.
When I am kind to others, I help them know that I love them
and Heavenly Father loves them.
What small things can you do to
show your love for others?
