Is there something that
helps you when you do it? It makes you feel like maybe
you're becoming a little more like Jesus? Usually, like when
you're mad, you could just think,
"What would Jesus do?" And you could see
what He would do, and then you would
do what He would do. I love that. Do we have a Primary song
that helps you remember that? "I'm Trying to-- Be Like Jesus." Yes. I sometimes let those
words go through my mind, and it helps remind me. Doesn't that help,
sometimes, President Nelson, when we let a song or a
scripture go through our minds? Yeah, that's one of the
wonderful things about going to Primary, is we get
to learn the songs. And the songs have
great meaning. All those words are
very, very important. And children can
learn the doctrine when they're learning to
sing just as much as they can learn the doctrine in a class. So keep singing, and
remember the words. Do you suppose since we're
right by the Palmyra Temple, that we could sing "I
Love to See the Temple?" Could we sing that together? OK, let's do. [MUSIC - "I LOVE TO SEE THE
TEMPLE"] (SINGING) I love
to see the temple. I'm going there some day,
to feel the Holy Spirit, to listen and to pray. For the temple is
the house of God, a place of love and beauty. I'll prepare myself
while I am young.
This is my sacred duty. Did you hear what you just sang? You said, "I'll prepare
myself while I am young. This is my sacred duty." And that's what you're doing. That's what you're
doing every day as you try to become more like Jesus. I'm so grateful for
your sweet spirits and for what you've
taught us today.
