So Jesus and His Apostles,
they were walking around, and they came by the river.
And He saw a guy right
by one of the stairs. That was crippled his
whole life and never moved. And he was very sick,
and it was a Sunday. Jesus is like, "Why can't
you go into the water?" The man says, like,
"I can't walk." Sir, I have no man. And so he couldn't get in
the pool if he couldn't walk, and then he can't
paddle with his feet. So Jesus knelt down. Put His hand out, and
Jesus pulled him up, and he was able to walk again. He healed his legs because
he needed different legs. And He said to take
up his beth--bed. Whatever that's called. And then he took up
his bed and walked. Jesus told the man
to go take a walk. "Take up thy bed, and walk." So then he was all
healed and left the pool. And he takes his bag, and he
goes outside of the church. And then, like, the
authorities came, and he's like,
"You're not allowed to carry a bag on Sunday." And some spectators say, "He's
breaking the law of Moses." And it was against the
Sabbath to do something good on Sunday for some reason. I don't see why that would be a
matter back--but back then they did things differently. One of them said,
"Why are you walking with your bedding on Sunday?" He said that the person that
healed him was--told him to "rise and stand, and
walk with your bedding." And the authority said,
"Well, who is this man, 'take up thy bed, and walk'?" He told them that Jesus
told him to do it. Well, what's wrong with
helping people on Sunday? It's a good deed.
Um, not work. Just relax on Saturday. No school. Not listen to, like, wild songs. Because on the Sabbath day,
you're supposed to heal people. We should go to church. Watch Church movies. Help others who
kind of need help. Wants us to help our family. Always choose the right. Also, once we get
home, we should pray. We're trying to remember
Him, to remember Jesus.
