What I heard growing up and going to weddings and things like that, it was always, I now pronounce you husband and wife till death do you part. And so I never thought of marriage as being anything eternal that would go beyond death. I married Kyle because I wanted to be with him forever and nobody else. And I married him because I didn't want to be alone too. So it was a sinking feeling, the thought that at death you have a bill of divorce. When I received missionary discussions and I was taught that our souls are eternal and that there's more to life than just this life that we're living here on earth, that was the first time that I've realized that there was more that Heavenly Father wanted for us as a married couple and as a family than just to be bound for this time on earth. He wanted us to be bound for time and all eternity.
