Large out door scene with a market square/campsite in the foreground and green hills in the background.  In the right foreground there is the side of alarge stuped  tent;  the tent has an awning supported by ropes and poles.  Hanging from the awning is a series of poles.  Underneath the awning is a mother with several children all in highly colored tunics and skirts.  In the left foreground is another family.  This family has a father with a daughter in hi lap, two women beside him (one with a child in her lap) and a young boy with no shirt.  Behind the man is another figure with a bowed head.  Threre are several other figures and tents in the picture, but they are across the ones in the foreground.  A large tower is the focus of the painting.  The tower appears like scaffolding with a shaded top.  On top of the tower are three men.  One wears a blue robe and speaks with outstretched arms.  The other two seem to be recording his words.  Behind the tower is a stone building with step shapped sides.  "Walter Ranes '03" appears in the lower right corner in red.   The Reverse side reads, "Walter Rane 2003/ In the Service of Your God Mosiah 2:17/ King Benjamin Addresses his People".
