The Refiner's Fire

The Lord purifies us, like cloth or silver. The end product of any purification is beautiful and valuable, but the process can be harsh and difficult. We can find peace even in trials, knowing that the Lord is with us through our purification just as a refiner of silver and a fuller of cloth are there to guide the works of their hands. The Lord is intimately engaged in our lives.
