Introduction

The Temple City tour begins at the Weeks Home. William served as the architect for the Nauvoo Temple, working with Joseph Smith to realize the Lord’s vision for the building.

What to Expect

The Weeks Home is a three-room guided tour that covers the parlor, office, and back bedroom. After the tour of the home, missionaries will walk you over to the Edward and Ann Hunter Home to continue the Temple City tour.

During the summer, you may encounter a short live show exploring Caroline’s unique role.

Parking

  • There is parking available in a lot to the east of the Weeks Home on Young Street.
    • There is no designated accessible parking. However, the parking lot will be able to accommodate visitors’ vehicles with accessibility needs if the lot is not full.
