Introduction

The wagon ride is an additional Pioneer Life experience. Meet a team of our horses, and take a ride that provides an overview of the physical setting of Nauvoo.

What to Expect

The wagon ride is approximately 35 minutes. A missionary will narrate the experience.

Tickets are required for the wagon ride from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Rides are available Monday–Saturday. Tickets can be reserved the day of your visit starting at 7:00 a.m. central time. Visit Historic Nauvoo’s Eventbrite page to reserve your tickets on the day you would like to take a ride. If you have questions about ticketing, please visit the Ticketing FAQ page.
