Elder Ronald M. Barcellos was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the April 2025 general conference. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a seminary teacher in the Orlando Florida South Stake.
Elder Barcellos has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Brazil Porto Alegre North Mission, elders quorum president, bishop, high councilor, stake young men’s president, counselor in a stake presidency, and mission president.
Elder Barcellos studied business administration at São Marcos University. He went on to work in sales and marketing for several companies. In 2000, he was hired as a sales and operations manager for Districorp. From 2002 to 2011, he worked as chief operating officer for E-novations. In 2011, he co-founded GreenMile, LLC., where he worked as chief operating officer for 4 years and chief executive officer for 6 years.
Ronald Maldonado Barcellos Silveira was born in São Paulo, Brazil, on November 4, 1975. He married Karin Spat Albino in 1999. They are the parents of three children.
