The horse-drawn wagon ride travels through different areas of Historic Nauvoo, including shops and homes along Main Street, the nearby Joseph Smith Historic Site, and the beginnings of the Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail.
What to Expect
The wagon ride is an additional Pioneer Life experience. The wagon ride lasts approximately 35 minutes. Missionaries provide brief descriptions of the various sites and answer questions at the conclusion of the ride. If you would like, you can meet and take photos with the team of horses before your ride.
Rides are available Monday–Saturday, year-round. Tickets are required for the wagon ride from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Tickets can be reserved the day of your visit starting at 7:00 a.m. central time. Get tickets on the Wagon Rides Ticket Reservation page
