Elder Kevin J. Hathaway was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the April 2026 general conference. At the time of his call, he had been serving as president of the Arkansas Bentonville Mission.
Elder Hathaway has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Russia St. Petersburg Mission, bishop, stake president, mission president, and Area Seventy.
Elder Hathaway earned a bachelor of arts degree in Russian language and a bachelor of arts degree in international law and diplomacy from Brigham Young University in 2000. He worked as a healthcare representative for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals from 2001 to 2011 and as owner of Freedom Rentals from 2001 to 2024. He also worked as chief executive officer for Touchstone Medical Corporation from 2011 to 2020 and as chief executive officer and owner of Touchstone Builders LLC from 2019 to 2024.
Kevin James Hathaway was born in Billings, Montana, on February 28, 1975. He married Kali Lewis in 1997. They are the parents of six children.
