Elder Hutch U. Fale was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the April 2026 general conference. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a member of the Twelfth Quorum of the Seventy in the Utah Area.
Elder Fale has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Tonga Nuku’alofa Mission, bishop, Young Men president, high councilor, stake president, and Area Seventy.
Elder Fale attended Tonga High School in Tonga. He went on to earn a bachelor of arts degree in history and political science from Brigham Young University–Hawaii in 2002, a juris doctor degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2006, and a master of public administration degree from the Romney Institute in 2006. He has worked as an attorney for Avery, Burdsal & Fale, PC since 2007.
Hutch Unga Fale was born in Provo, Utah, on August 22, 1979. He married Gaylene Rosarine Lilino in 2002. They are the parents of five children.
