Imagine you were a righteous Nephite or Lamanite two thousand years ago, overjoyed to learn that a Savior would be born … but maybe a little disappointed when you realized He would live on the other side of the world!
So imagine how happy they must have been when the Savior Jesus Christ visited them after His Resurrection. And not just visited them, but also:
- Taught them the same gospel principles he’d taught in Jerusalem.
- Blessed them with the same kinds of miracles.
- Reassured them that they were all His “sheep.”
The same truths apply to us wherever or whenever we live. You are every bit as precious as those who physically felt the Savior’s hands and feet. He lived and died and lived again—for you!
