Bobbie Grace was talking to her cousin Emma, who said she didn’t feel well. Bobbie said she would pray for her.
“Throughout the day, I began noticing a constant feeling to pray more and more for her,” she said.
Late in the night, Bobbie felt a prompting “like a jolt.” She knew something was wrong with Emma! She told her mom, who was able to call her aunt.
She found Emma passed out on the floor, unresponsive!
“It turns out Emma’s appendix burst,” Bobbie explained. Thankfully, because of our loving Heavenly Father and the work of a surgeon, Emma got through it OK.
“We may not understand why things happen, but we know that our Heavenly Father is aware of us,” Bobbie said. “I am so thankful for that comfort in the gospel of Jesus Christ, knowing that Heavenly Father loves all of His children. And I’m so grateful I felt that prompting from the Holy Spirit and acted on it.”
Following the Spirit can be lifesaving! How can you practice listening to the Holy Ghost this week?
