Svyataslava is from Moscow, Russia. For her, prayer is a conversation with Heavenly Father.

“When I pray, I can tell Him about my concerns and joys,” she said. “I can thank Him and ask Him about things.”

One day after doing proxy work in the temple, she went to the waiting room. It was empty, so she used the private moment to pray.

“At the end of my prayer, I remembered my great-grandmother, whom I missed very much, and asked God if I could feel her embrace,” Svyataslava said.

“When I finished my prayer, my friend entered the room and gave me a hug. I immediately thought of my great-grandmother and remembered her loving embrace. We cried together as we felt the Holy Ghost. This confirmed to me that the Lord hears and knows me. I know that He lives and loves me.”

Wow. Thanks for sharing your story, Svyataslava! When have you felt the Lord’s love for you? He loves you so much!

Quiet Moment

Find a place that is quiet and private, then have a conversation with Heavenly Father. Tell Him what’s on your mind. Then listen. Write down the thoughts and feelings that come.
