His vision improved, along with his testimony!

John 9 describes the miracle.

We have records of Jesus healing several blind people, but this story is a little bit different.

At first, the man didn’t share a strong opinion on who Jesus was.1 It was only when the Pharisees pressed him that the man said Jesus must be someone with divine authority, like a prophet.2

But the Pharisees didn’t accept that answer. They repeatedly interrogated the man’s parents about if he really had been blind since birth, making sure the healing wasn’t a hoax.3 And it seems to be during that conversation that the man became more bold about sharing what he believed.

By the Pharisees’ own logic, Jesus couldn’t have healed the man unless He was of God. But the man knew that Jesus had healed Him—therefore, He must be of God. The more he testified the Christ had healed him, the more His testimony seemed to grow!

Isn’t that interesting? The more we testify of the Savior, sharing how we have seen His hand in our lives, the stronger our testimony will become—even when faced with adversity. Let’s share what we we know about Him!
