These coins represent more than tangible wealth.

How do you use the talents and other resources that you’ve been given?

Think of the blessings in your life, whether tangible (like having enough to eat and a roof over your head) or spiritual (like knowing about the plan of salvation). Perhaps you have skills, like being a good listener or playing an instrument, that you’re working on developing.

All of these are gifts from God, like the talents in this parable. One day we will be asked to report on how we used them. Did we use them to help others and build the kingdom of God? Or did we waste them on frivolous things and hide them from the world?

It doesn’t matter how much we start with—it only matters what we do with whatever we have!
